What is included in this retreat?This retreat includes accommodations, all meals, yoga, meditation, art therapy, strength training, bowling, a nutrition workshop, and a dinner reception with a guest speaker.

Is this retreat specifically for cancer survivors?Yes, this 2-night retreat is designed to provide a supportive and rejuvenating experience tailored for cancer survivors and thrivers.

Can I come on my own?Absolutely. Many people attend on their own. In group retreats, bonds with other visitors form very quickly. It's an opportunity to enjoy a rejuvenating getaway, relax, and meet new people.

Can I add treatments to my stay?Absolutely. If you wish, you can add treatments and consultations to your stay, at an additional cost.

Retreat PricingPrices are set per person and cover retreat costs only, excluding travel expenses to and from the retreat.

Cancellation PolicyNotify Central Plains Cancer Services via email at info@cpcancerservices.ca for cancellations. No refunds after September 19, 2025. The host may make necessary changes and, in rare cases, cancel the retreat. In the event of a cancellation, the host will offer a full refund.

Room OccupancyRetreat rates are per person, and each participant is assigned their own room.

What should I bring with me?You might want to bring personal toiletries, any necessary medications, a water bottle, a journal if you enjoy writing, and perhaps a book for downtime.

Is there Wi-Fi available at the retreat location?Yes, Wi-Fi is available in Barker Suites for our guests.

Are the activities suitable for all levels of physical ability?We aim to make our activities accessible to everyone. Our instructors will offer modifications as needed. Please inform us of any physical limitations you may have so we can best support you.

Will the meals cater to dietary restrictions?Yes, please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies you have when you register.

What time is check-in on the first day?Check-in begins at 2:00 PM on the first day of the retreat.

What if I have to leave early?If you need to leave the retreat early, please inform one of the organizers so we can assist you with your departure.

Can I bring a guest who is not a cancer survivor?This retreat is designed only for cancer survivors to create a focused and supportive environment.

Are linens and towels provided?Yes, all linens and towels will be provided for your stay.

Is parking available at the retreat location?Yes, complimentary parking is available for retreat participants.

What kind of clothing should I pack?We recommend comfortable and loose-fitting clothing for activities like yoga, meditation, and art therapy. You might also want swimwear if there are spa facilities you'd like to use. For the dinner reception, smart-casual attire is suggested. Layers are always a good idea to adjust to temperature changes.
